- The pharaoh had a lot of people try to interpret the dream but no one could. The butler told the pharaoh of how Joseph could interpret dreams and so the pharaoh wanted Joseph to interpret his dreams. Of course Joseph knew the dream meant there would be seven years of good crop and seven years of bad crop.
- The pharaoh was very impressed and put him in charge of the grain so he can keep some put away for the drought.
- One day Joseph was working and organising the grain and then 11 men came to get grain. Joseph recognised them immediately as his brothers but they didn't recognise him. They asked for grain and Joseph asked if there were any more of them and they said that there was another brother at home.
- Joseph asked them to go back home and get their other brother who is Benjamin (Josephs biological brother) and bring him to Egypt so he can see them all. To make sure they keep their promise Joseph takes one of the older brothers and locks him up until they are back with Benjamin.
- Eventually the 11 brothers keep their promise and bring Benjamin to Egypt much to the sadness to Jacob (their father) as his favoured child was Benjamin as Joseph was 'dead', but the 11 brothers promised to have Benjamin back safetly as soon as they had their grain. So Benjamin comes with his brothers back to Egypt and to Joseph.
- Joseph accepted and gave them their grain and let them leave but not before he have a slave plant his special silver goblet from the Pharaoh in Benjamin's bag. The guards search their bags as they leave and find the silver goblet and brings them to Josephs who says that he will kill Benjamin knowing that the brothers wouldn't allow it.
