  • Oh, and what does influenza do to me?
  •  Well the common symptoms are fever over 100.4 F (38 C), aching muscles, chills and sweats, headache, dry, persistent cough, fatigue and weakness,nasal congestion, sore throat.
  • Really? And in who is more dangerous?
  • Well influenza is more dangerous for people like pregnant women, young children,  older adults,  people with weakened immune systems and people who are very obese.
  • No, I refer to young children under age 5
  • oh I see, and am I in danger? because you said young children and Im young
  • Flu viruses travel through the air in droplets when someone with the infection coughs, sneezes or talks. You can inhale the droplets directly, or you can pick up the germs from an object — such as a telephone
  • Okay so am safe then, but what are the causes?
  • Yes, but only in high-risk children and adults may developed complications such as: pneumonia,  bronchitis, asthma flare-ups, heart problems and ear infections
  • And is there any complication?
  •  Well there are 3 cells that help you and they have different functions, they are Lymphocytes (T-cells, B-cells and NK cells) : Neutrophils: Release toxins(chemicals)to destroy pathogens Macrophages: Digest and process pathogens
  • And are there any part of my body that helps me to fight against and what do they do?
