- Hello class, today I will be talking about the different form of government.
- Government: A government is a group of people that have the power to rule in a territory.
- Before we understand the different forms of government, we have to know whatgovernment means.
- There are lots of different forms of government around the world, but lets first understand what type of government we have.
- In Canada we have a Representative democracy. That means People vote for the government of their choice to make their decisions heard. In this system everyone has a voice but if people vote for a government that loses then their voices aren't being heard. Canada and the USA use this system.
- There's also another type of democracy, Direct democracy: A form of government where the people vote on every single matter, this doesn't work well on a country with millions of people, might work ok on a country with small amounts of people.
