- An STD is a sexually transmitted disease. There are plenty of different ones and many bad things that STDs can do to us.
- Like I said, an STD is SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED. To prevent these things, you need to make sure that you are having safe sex by using protection like condoms.
- There are many complications hat come with STDs. You can have pregnancy complications, pelvic pain, infertility, heart disease and even CANCER...Although these things are very scary, they can be prevented
- Oooh I see...but..how do I know if I have an STD anyway...if I DO find out an STD what can I do about it??Is there a cure???Or am I stuck like that forever.
- STDs have symptoms. Noticing these symptoms lead to people getting checked out by a professional to determine if they actually have an STD or not. However, not everyone gets these symptoms which is why you should make a responsible decision and get yourself and your partner tested

- If you want to get treated, you should consider getting vaccinated. HPV for example, has a vaccine that we get around this age.

- Keep in mind that you should get treated as soon as possible. For some STDs, there IS a cure. If you don't get treated then it will be too late. Like syphilis. You have a chance to get treated by if you take too long it will spread and can damage your organs. You might even DIE
- Like I said, not ALL STDs have a cure. For example, herpes does not have a cure. Yes, the symptoms may die down but, the STD itself won't just go away
