Storyboard Text
- I was in the second grade and school had just ended. Then I started making my way to the bus stop as a I normally do.
- I went through the halls i usually do, one of them having a very heavy door. There is yellow warning tape around the door to show where you shouldn't put your feet, but since the door was heavy I always end up putting my feet inside the yellow tape to open.
- I open the door with full force and the door ends up hitting my feet with that same force. I instantly feel pain shoot through my foot, centered in my big toe. I winced there for a second in pain and kept making my way to the bus stop.
- The pain was still lingering there, and I kept trying to feel through my shoe with my other foot but I felt no other pain or anything in the way. I just suspected it bruised my toe and got on the bus.
- I got home and told my mom what had happened. We decided to look at it and turns out, the door hit me so hard that my big toe nail was half lifted off my nail and the rest was still intact. I cried immediately out of fear and my mom decided she would fix it at home.
- My mom and dad struggled to help me but in the end snapped my nail back in place. I was fine after but always was careful around that door.
