Step 3: Full License: Preparation for the Class 5 Road Test
I would study using resources like Tune Up for Drivers, Learn to Drive, and the Road Signs Practice Test to deeply understand the hazards, terminology, protocols for drivers.
I would also study via on-road practice with an experienced driver at the ICBC-approved driver training school.
Step 3: Full License: Passing the Class 5 Road Test
Note that my ability to acquire my full driver's license only after 18 months is due to taking the driver training course with any at-fault crashes, tickets, or prohibitions.
After 18 months of being having an N license, I would be able to take the Class 5 Road Test. The test takes 45 minutes with an examiner that would observe my car's functionality. The examiner will also take me on a route to properly demonstrate my driving skills (parking, turning, etc.)
Step 3: Full License: The End
With the Class 5 Driver's License (the most common one), I would be able to:1. Drive many types of vehicles such as cars, trucks, and utility vehicles.2. Tow trailers or vehicles up to 4,600kg.3. Ride limited-speed motorbikes and All-Terrain-Vehicles.4. Ride 3-wheeled vehicles (but not 3-wheeled motorbikes).
