- 1. The Shahada: Must belive and recite the creed
- There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet
- 2. Salat: Must bow down towards Mecca and recite a prayer five times a day.

- 3. Zakat: Must Give alms to the poor

- 4.Saum: Must fast for one month of the year(Ramadam)
- 5.Hajj: Must (if able) take at least one pilgramage to Mecca in their lifetime.
