- Once the party started Lady Macbeth started the plan to murder and get power from Duncan as she invites them in gladly saying "...Your Majesty loads our house; for those of old and the late dignities heaped up to them, We rest your hermits."
- While they guest pay attention to celebrating though out the night and having fun all around as the King wondered of Macbeths presence. While lady Macbeth goes off to find and search for him.
- As she searches for him, he is away from the crowd and party alone thinking through what he has been told and his plans on getting power as fear and moral gets to him.
- "He has almost supped. Why have you left the chamber?" She asked worried. He had responded saying " Hath he asked for me?" He soon takes the conversation in a different direction
- He is sadden and takes back the plan and believes he couldn't go through with it as Lady Macbeth convinces him otherwise. "If we should fail?" "We fail? But screw your courage to the sticking-place."J
- "I am settled and bend up Each corporal agent to this terrible feat." He goes through with it as lady Macbeth follows the plan to frame the watchmen for his death though out the night.
