- One day little timmy was out playing on the playground and he was swinging on the swing and fell. Little Timmy had gotten a terrible cut on his arm. His mom then rushed him to the hospital hoping her little timmy was going to be alright
- Once he showed up to the hospital the nurse came in and asked him if he knew what mitosis was. The boy said no, and the nurse thought this could be a perfect learning opportunity and she could help little Timmy at the same time.
- after anaphase is telophase which is where the chromosomes uncoil to form chromatin.
- The nurse started explaining to little timmy the 6 stages of mitosis (Interphase, Mitosis, Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase and last but not least cytokinesis. The nurse starts to explain to him how mitosis is how he heals and what helps broken bones.
- The nurse started explaining the order and the functions of mitosis to little Timmy. The nurse starts explaining interphase which is before mitosis begins, then the cells grow bigger and bigger and the chromatin start replicating. The first step of mitosis is prophase which is when chromosomes become visible as paired chromatids.
- Also the nurse explains to little Timmy that interphase has three parts, G1, S and G2. G1 is when the cells prepare the chromosomes to be replicated. S is when synthesis takes place and G2 is when they are finishing the replication process. Then the nurse talks about the 3rd phase, anaphase, which is where the chromosomes separate into 2 identical groups.
- after telophase, cytokinesis begins. during cytokinesis the cytoplasm is completely divided, then a cleavage forms and the cytoplasm divides creating two daughter cells then you all complete with mitosis and the cell cycle THANKS
