- They are raising the rent for our stores and it is ruining the community.
- Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and city of Tulsa
- We had have added 10 brick houses and 12 buisnesses to Greenwood.
- We have also bought 55 achers of land for tulsa.
- Tulsa Development Authority
- Weve sold 6 chunks of land to the tulsa devolpment authority.
- The black business owners had rented shops but white people were raising the rent.
- Whenever rich people started moving to Tulsa it caused gentrification.
- They had added many new things to Tulsa and greenwood like 10 brick houses, 12 businesses, and 55 archers of land.
- Who benefits from gentrification on black wall street.
- We have lots of new things because of the taxes.
- The Tulsa development Authority sold 6 chunks of land.
- Gentrification is when rich people move into an area that raises the taxes to equal it out. The thing is poor people that had been there cant stay there because the taxes are being raised. Rich people moved to Tulsa for oil.
- The people that benafit is basically everyone. The taxes do rise but this also means we have a lot more money. This means we get a better community for a higher cost.
