- santiago,i think i want to stay with you and continue what we were doing,we even made some allowance
- the old man and the sea tells the story of a battle between an aging,experienced fisherman,santiago and a large marlin.the story opens with santiago having gone 84 days without catching a fish .a boy called manolin,who is called as santiago's apprentice
- no manolin,you should stay with them and continue with what you were doing
- early in the morning,Santiago was ready to venture far out into the gulf stream.Santiago felt confident that his unlucky streak was coming to an end.manolin wished Santiago good luck and Santiago was off to go

- in the middle of the sea,Santiago managed to catch fish,not just any other fishes,it was a marlin.his long period of back luck had finally ended, Santiago with all hid hope, expertly hooked the fish,he could not pull the fish because it was huge so the marlin began to pull the boat
- I GOT A MARLIN!YES I FINALLY GOT ONE
- suddenly,on the way back home with his marlin, the old man was attacked by many sharks who were tempted to eat the marlin who was with the old man.santiagi tried to use a harpoon to make the sharks move away so that he can continue his journey.he was straving and didnt had the energy to make the sharks move away from the marlin
- AHHH WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SHARKS
- but unfortunately, when the old man returned back,all they saw,was the skeleton of marlin which was eaten from the attack of the sharks.all the fishermen were completely stunned to see a marlin with the old man

- manolin was relieved to see old man in his bed without any harm,the young boy bought some food and water for the old man who was fast asleep
