- George"He looked across the dire at Lennie's anguished face, and then he looked ashamedly at the flames." Pg 11This shows that even though Lenny is a lot to take care of for George, George really cares for him and feels bad when he says thing about Lennie.
- Lennie"I forgot again." Pg 6It shows that Lennie has a child-like mind and it causes him to forget things a lot, and it frustrates George because he has to remind him of everything
