- One day in a chemistry lesson, we did an experiment. Some acid was dropped on the ground and a splash went in my eyes. The pain was unbearable and I was screaming. My science teacher called an ambulance to the school.
- We have called an ambulance Megan. Try not to panic, you are going to be okay.
- OW, OW MY EYES!
- I woke up confused, all I could see where fuzzy white shapes. A nurse told me that I was in hospital, and that I had been blinded for life by the accident.
- Welcome home darling!!
- In hospital I was given a guide dog called Basil as I could not use a cane properly. Several months later I finally was allowed to go home. I was nervous about going out again so I did not leave the house for the first week.
- Mum? Is that you?
- I started seeing my friends again, at first I felt very nervous. I met my friend Ameena at a cafe
- I was at Girl Guides on Saturday and Olivia said that she saw Ivy with Tom at Tescos!!
- I got more confident so I went on a day trip into Central London with my friends, it was a great success. Mum said that the next step was going to school...
- OMG*GASP*
- So the rumours are true!!*laughs*
- School was okay but at first I often got overwhelmed by the loud noises, especially in the cafeteria. My school friends helped and comforted me. I will always remember the accident and how it dramatically changed my life.THE END.
