- Hey Rox do you know what are the 3 laws of motion? I kinda need help in my assignment
- The 2nd law of motion states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to the ojects mass
- Seriously? John you're on the 8th grade and you still dont know what are the 3 laws of motion

- That's easy. Just look around you.
- That means even if you stop pedaling the bike continues going until friction slows it down.
- The 1st law states that : An object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion at a constant velocity along a straight line unless acted by an unbalanced force
- Yes. That's correct.
- So if 2 persons push an empty cart with the same force it produces twice as much acceleration.
- So when you walk you are applying force to the ground and the ground applies the equal amount of force on you but in the opposite dircetion pushing you forward
- Yup.
- The 3rd law of motion states that whenever one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force on the first object,
