- Good work everyone! We leave at dawn for Rakshasas. Be prepared for battle.
- ARGH! Take that! You are not as nimble as you think, demon.
- Nor you as generous or kind.
- It is not my place to murder a defenseless man.
- Why did you spare my life? I stole your wife, I broke your heart, don't you want revenge?
- The monkeys worked day and night and eventually constructed a bridge. Everyone rejoiced and began the cross to Rakshasas.
- LAKSHMANA! NOOOO!
- HAHAHA. You can try, but you will never succeed. I am just too powerful.
- *Gasp, holds breath*
- There, they found Ravana's army, ready for battle. Chaos broke out and both demons and monkeys fought relentlessly. At one point, Rama and Ravana met on the battlefield. Rama succeeded in disarming Ravana, but hesitated before making the killing blow.
- ALMOST THERE, MY LORD. JUST HOLD ON A LITTLE LONGER.
- Please awaken, Lakshmana!
- If I escape now, they will never find me or their beloved princess...
- Rama would not kill a defenseless enemy. Shocked, Ravana could not understand his morals or his kindness. He did not share them.
- What was that stuff? It tasted disgusting. Bleh.
- Never again will you threaten my lady, my friends, or my kingdom.
- Remind me not to interfere with humans in my next life. Karma really is the worst.
- Suddenly, Lakshmana saw his opportunity to defeat Ravana. He appeared from the midst of the war, but he wasn't agile enough. Ravana was too powerful even in weakness and he pierced the young man's heart.
- Rama was stricken with grief and stayed by Lakshmana's side until aid arrived. Hanuman knew of a medicinal herb that could heal Lakshmana. He flew rapidly to retrieve it, but when he got there, he realized he didn't know which herb to bring. So, he flew back with the entire mountain.
- Hanuman quickly brew a potion and fed it to Lakshmana. Just then, Rama spotted Ravana retreating. He knew this was his chance. He snuck up behind Ravana and attacked. Back and forth, the fight continued, but Rama won and the demon fell dead.
- Not exactly sure... Some herb a wise monkey once told me about.
