- I couldn't find real Fort Sumter so this is as close as we get
- The civil war started on April 12th, 1861 at 4:30 AM when Confederate forces fired on Fort Sumter In south carolina.

- The first major battle was the battle of bull run. It was a Confederate victory with the Union suffering heavy losses.

- Siege of Vicksburg. This was a big one because it was the final major battle.
- Finally after 3 years of fighting and an estimated 620,000 killed the war had ended. It was officially over when Union Gen. Robert E. Lee and Confederate Gen. Ulysses S. Grant signed papers at Appomatax court house
