- The story takes place in Chicago. Most of the time it took place in South Side Middle School where they all went for school or it took place in the embassy building that T'Challa and M'Baku were supposed to stay at.
- M'Baku became friends with Gemini Jones (the school bully) through playing basketball with him and Gemini convinced him to move out of the embassy and move in with him and his dad. Gemini also took M'Baku away from T'Challa. M'Baku was also disobeying orders from the king about staying low and staying in the embassy.
- I think the theme has to be Betrayal and the importance of friendship. There was a betrayal between M'baku and T'Challa because M'Baku stole the vibranium ring that was given to T'Challa from his father that was supposed to be used in emergencies only. M'Baku was heavily influenced by Gemini who was said to use dark magic. it could have been used on M'Baku which is why he followed what Gemini said. in the end, T'Challa was able to get M'Baku back
