They have white fur to help camouflage from prey on snow and ice. Their thick layers of fat and fur for insulation against the cold. They have a small surface area to volume ratio to minimize heat loss. They have large paws to help them walk on snow. Lastly, they are very good at swimming to help catch predators in the water.
King cobras have a strong sense of smell thanks to their forked tongue which pulls scent particles into their mouth, where a special organ interprets the information. Also, they have the ability to jump (really more of a lunge) at their prey. To add on, their slender, appendageless body allows them to quietly sneak up on prey without making noise. The snake's hood allows them to appear larger and more menacing to predators. Lastly, their long, venomous fangs helps to kill their prey quickly.
