Jamestown has persevered through many tough situations and problems that the town had to fight through. Such as the Starving Time, and others. Jamestown became successful when tobacco was able to be sold for money which was able to drive the town to success, not to mention the fertile soil that allowed crops to grow, as said in the Geographic tab.
