- Motive:
- There was a large national debt in France. This was caused by inefficient tax systems. Another cause of their national debt is because they interfered with the Seven Year' War and The American War of Independence.
- Motive:

- Norman, Ray, and Emma realize that they are being raised to be fed to demons. They need to escape.
- We need to get out!
- Method:
- Louis XVI was the monarch of France from 1774 through 1789. He contributed to the debt of France by helping pay for The American War of Independence but America never paid them back.
- Method:
- They form a plan to escape. They start trainining to run away from the farm.
- Change:
- The Bastille was stormed. Louis XVI was arrested for treason, tried and found guilty by the National Convention, and executed by guillotine.
- Change:
- They initiate their plan to set the building on fire to give a distraction to escape. They successfully escape.
