Storyboard Text

  • I'm going out with Shelby tonight.
  • No you aren't! If I'm not going out you aren't either!
  • THIS ISN'T WHAT A FRIENDSHIP SHOULD BE LIKE!
  • In this scene there is a very obvious sad mood, as the colors are all blue and grey. You can see the uneven dynamic in the conversation by one friend standing while the other is sitting. The camera is steady throughout the scene and then zooms as we enter the second scene. There is background noise of people talking in the busy area.
  • Thank you, it means a lot.
  • I wanted to apologize. I didn't  mean to overstep my boundaries. Have fun tonight.
  • As we transition to this scene the camera is zooming up to the submissive girl's face and all the background noise fades away. You can see that she is very sad and how this conversation has affected her.
  • WE need to realize our mistakes
  • As we move on to this scene the background will fade in, and then the words will abruptly show up on the screen catching the viewers attention. After the text "this isn't what a friendship should be like!" this idea will be more explained...
  • THE POWER TO CHANGE IS IN YOUR HANDS!
  • The background from the last scene fades away, and we see the rude girl walking away, still in the blue toned background with loud  background noise. She suddenly stops and we see the background change to a more yellow, uplifting tone and happy music begins to play. The girl turns around and goes back to her friend to apologize. Once she apologizes the happy music stops while the submissive girl is thinking. After a dramatic pause the girl forgives her, and the happy music starts again.
  • As we move on to this scene the background will fade in, and then the words will abruptly show up on the screen catching the viewers attention.  It highlights the turning point of the previous sketch and points out it the viewer that what took place after the girl realized her mistake is positive. The yellow background further contributed to the idea that the girl is making a positive change by re-evaluating. her abusive tactics.
