I can recall writing about baby birds in kindergarten. It was the teacher's favorite, so she sent me over to a 1st grade teacher to view it.
4th grade: I had a short narrative describing me being troublesome. I lied to my grandma when I wanted to go to this party at the park. "I have a ride." I walked down a road to the highway, and my dad's friend picked me up. My dad was consulted.
8th grade: A poem was written about the early struggles of my life. It developed change/ growth in the end. "I remember my biological family did want me."
6th grade: I wrote about my Harvey experience. It was very emotional, partially because I had abandoned 1 of my dogs in the shelter. I ended up going to the counselor.
NO ANIMAL TESTING
In 7th grade my topic was about animal testing. I was anti- animal testing.
My 8th grade science teacher's mom died, and she told us a story about a time where her mom felt pretty. Her mom requested Wing Song perfume in the hospital and that's what she used when she felt beautiful. It's got way more detail, but I wrote my teacher a poem about her mom.
