Storyboard Text

  • Hi there! My name is Ella, I am a licensed social worker in my community. Come on, I'll tell you more about myself and I'll also show you how the system works here.
  • A few years ago, I graduated BS Social Work in my community college. I also passed the licensure examination right after. That's why I am considered as a professional.
  • Being professional can also be applied in everyday scenarios. You must always be aware on how you approach a person with mindful thinking and having the idea of what you are doing.
  • As a social worker, I know my strengths and skills. I know how to communicate with people and my capacity to help. I also have my own values and beliefs myself.
  • Just like in real life, you must know your capabilities and limits. Everyone has their own limits. Know your strengths in order for you to learn where to put your actions into.
  • OBJECTIVES
  • SEPARATE PERSONAL FROM PROFESSIONAL
  • EMOTIONAL STATE MUST REMAIN HIDDEN
  • MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY
  • As a social worker, I set objectives in order to make my work easier. To make me focus on my goal and to avoid having unprofessional help to others.
  • If you set objectives in daily goals, it can also make your task easier. You will know what to do first and you can modulate yourself on what part must you avoid and what part you must put focus into.
  • If you would do the same, our world will be full of acceptance and love. Respect everyone no matter how different they are from you. We are all humans. We all deserve care and respect.
  • As a social worker, I work with people from various cultures. People who have different backgrounds, religion, or languages. I believe in inclusion and diversity.
  • Everyone must have the chance to change and to grow. Just like in social work, everyone must be dynamic. Free to change and free to grow. Developing oneself is the first step to success. You can change for the better and grow to be the best version of yourself.
  • Lastly, as social workers, we continue to develop personally and professionally. To continue helping individuals in our community and to promote awareness all over the world.
