Storyboard Text
- The Titan Prometheus created all living things with the help of his brother, Epimetheus
- "From his imagination, he fashioned birds for the air, fish for the sea, and animals for the land"
- For humans, Prometheus' favorite creation, he and his brother gifted them with fire and knowledge from Hephaestus
- He hid the good meat under organs and piled the fat on top of the ox's bones
- To make sure the humans did not sacrifice all that they had to the gods, Polyphemus decided to trick Zeus
- "He carved the carcass of a great ox, dividing the parts into two sacrificial piles of fat and nourishing meat"
- When Zeus realized the deception, he punished the humans and Prometheus by taking away fire from humanity
- Prometheus rebelled and was able to return fire to his creations, but as punishment was chained to the cliff side and forced to face endless torture
- Because of Prometheus, humanity was created and was able to survive through his sacrifices
