- Introduction
- Terrorism has affected millions of families. Do we really want our children living in this type of world? Where bombs are dropping, guns are firing, and people are getting injured or even murdered?
- Narration
- Terrorism can result in fatality, causing some families to fall apart. Children will end up growing up without a second parent, and always have the trauma of losing someone so close to them.
- Terrorism: The unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims. (Dictionary)
- Oskar deals with the loss of his father due to terrorism. In the 9/11 attacks Oskar's father(firefighter) was making a rescue mission and jumped out of one of the twin towers to avoid a painful death.

- From the medieval times to 9/11, we have dealt with terrorism since the beginning of our existence. It has affected families around the world and the effects can be devastating. A change needs to be made or we might kill each other off before we even know it.

- Some think that addressing terrorism might actually be a benefit to humanity. Say that we take a stand and increase the consequences, we might possibly discourage them.
