  • Growing up our son was always very smart
  • But,the government developed stricter laws we all had to be equal,because our son was so smart,they took him away
  • They put me confinement and made me wear heave bags around my neck,put goggles on me to worsen my vision, and lessened my appearance.
  • This represents how everyone in society is equal and the start of their son being very smart.
  • Honey,our son is on Tv,he's escaped
  • This represents their son getting taken for being to smart.
  • Come with me empress so we can be free
  • This is their son in jail and all of the things they did to him to try and make him lesser.
  • In this story the point is made that we can't all be the same.We are all our own individual unique person for a reason. Kurt Vonnegut demonstrates this by showing us what will happen if we try to lessen ourselves.This shows that it is important to stay true to who you are.I think this story has a great message.
  • He soon escaped jail and his parents witnessed but soon forgot about it.
  • He had escaped and went to a broadcasted ballet performance where he chose one ballerina to be his empress.
