- Romeo and Juliet Act 2
- Act 2 Scene 1
- "I am Romeo, I love Rosaline I want to marry her"
- Mercutio STOP I told you I am over her
- Act 2 Scene 2
- Romeo if you are seen they will kill you
- I don't care Juliet I just want to be with you!
- ROMEO AND JULIET
- Act 2 Scene 3
- My Romeo why have you been out with Rosaline all night
- Father I was not out with Rosaline, I have met a new love named Juliet
- Romeo left the party because Mercutio was mocking Romeo's feelings for Rosaline. He decides that he can't go home so he tries to find Juliet. He jumps over the bordering wall and enters the Capulet property risking his life to find his love.
- Act 2 Scene 4
- Lets fight
- NO NO NO Tybalt this will not help settle the anger
- Romeo was watching Juliet from outside her window but then reveals himself. Juliet warns him that if he is spotted, as a Montague, he would be killed. Romeo said he doesn't care because he just wants to be with her. After talking for awhile they express their love for each other and they decide to get married.
- Act 2 Scene 5
- Yes Juliet, Romeo said he will marry you
- So, will Romeo marry me?
- Romeo final gets home and Friar Lawrence gets upset with Romeo that he has been out all night with no sleep. He tells his father that isn't the case, and describes his new love Juliet to him. Romeo also tells his father how they want to get married as soon as possible. Friar Lawrence was completely fine with all of this because he thinks it would help end the hatred between the two families.
- Benvolio heard from a Montague servant that Romeo did not return home. There is a lot of joking going around among Benvolio, Mercutio, and Romeo. Tybalt is aggressively challenging the Montagues to a fight and Romeo and the nurse set up a plan for Romeo and Juliet to get married.
- The nurse tells Juliet the news that Romeo will marry her. The nurse was slow to tell Juliet the news so the Juliet will learn to take things slow and make sure it is what she wanted. They then finalized the wedding plans.
