- Conquering Ohio River Valley-1700's
- Albany meeting- 1754
- Join or Die!
- Prime Ministers turning point- 1757
- I have trained you troops well. Now go and conquer land in North America.
- British and French both believe that they have the right to won Ohio River Valley. Both British and French made forts. George Washington sent a military force to "drive out the French". This forced the British to surrender. The land went to the French.
- Fall of Quebec and Montreal- 1759
- Colonists form seven colonies met up with the Iroquois tribe. These people are called delegates. They met at Albany to try to set up a treaty. Iroquois refused to have a alliance with the British. Instead the British decided to adopt Benjamin Franklin's Albany plan. Later on it failed because it requires the colonies to give up some of its power. During the time the conflict between the British and French expanded into the French and Indian war!
- The Treaty of Paris- 1763
- New British prime minister, William Pitt trained British soldiers to fight in North America. Pitt helped the British later on win the French and Indian war which let them conquer the Ohio River Valley. In 1758 the British won a crucial victory, which made them gain French Canada.

- I'm sent here on behalf the British government. I'm told to tell you not to settle west of the Appalachian. The fighting between you and the Native Americans will cost us more money.
- British raided Quebec, the capital of France. It was close to impossible to attack but they spotted a "poorly guarded path". Soon later the British defeated the French army at the plains of Abraham.
- They treaty of Paris forced the French to give up most of it's land to the British. This marked the end and/or the fall of French power.
- The British decided to takeover western land. Pontiac a Native American started a war to stop the British from taking over there land. The British set up an important new law to stop colonist from moving west ( the proclamation of 1763). British started being strict towards that colonies. British raised prices of goods (raised taxes) sent troops to American, and the government assembled plans to tax the colonies. This made the colonies furious. Eventually started a revolution in 1775.
