33 years later, Sgt. Dallas stumbles out of the bar wasted and aggravated
He has these visions and times of distress about 3-5 times a day

Get up you filthy drunk and follow me into the living room
Clementine, Jebidiah, and their bird Harold bring him into the foyer to give him an intervention about his drinking habits and to acknowledge the fact that he needs to get meds and therapy for his PTSD.
You gotta stop and get some help
4 months later, Sgt. Dallas is regularly going to therapy to treat his PTSD with exposure therapy instead of drinking the pain away. He is likely to make a full recovery and his family couldn't be happier.
Sgt. Dallas continues to go to therapy and his new medication is helping with his reoccurring nightmares, he doesnt go to the bar anymore and instead takes walks on his family's land.
Remember there is always help out there, and although it can be intimidating to get it, in the long run it will help you be you again
