  • ONE DAY AT THE PARK'S RESIDENCE, A GRADE 11 STUDENT NAMED AIELLE ASKED HER MOTHER ABOUT HUMAN ACT.
  • Mom, what does it mean by human act?
  • Hi Aielle, so a human act is carried out by a human being when a person is responsible, when they know what they are doing and have the desire to do it. There are also two essential components of human action: knowledge and freedom.
  • That's right Aielle! Knowledge is necessary for every human act and the opposite of this is ignorance. Freedom on the other hand is the actual choice or voluntariness of a person doing the act.
  • human act is carried out by a human being when a person is responsible, when they know what they are doing and have the desire to do it. There are also two essential components of human action: knowledge and freedom.
  • In carrying out an act or decision, freedom has three stages. The first is before the act, when you consciously consider the reasons for or against a specific action. Second, during the decision, a person is conscious of freely giving consent and thus performing an action with extreme caution.
  • Lastly, is after the decision. A person is aware that a different decision could have been made, with sole blame or credit for the regret or credit resulting from such action.
  • Wow that really answered my curiosity. I really do learn a lot of things from you! Thanks, Mom!
