In the summer the Inuit people make houses using whale bones or driftwood for a frame and animal skins to cover the frame and become a wall.In the winter they make houses out of snow and ice because materials like wood and mud are hard to find in the frozen tundra.
On ice and snow the Inuit people used a dogsled to travel and on water they used a one person boat called a kayak.
The Inuit people had to hunt for their food because they didn't have stores they could buy their food from. They hunted things seals and whales.
Now we can live where ever and have the same house that is useful and protective no matter what season it is.
Now we use bikes, cars, and trains to travel.
Now instead of hunting we can go to the store and buy the same things or grow it ourselves.
