The Foolish Boy
Storyboard Text
- Once upon a time, there was a boy who was rewarded with a goat for his services by a wealthy man. He was very happy as the goat will bring a fortune to his family. He brought the goat home with him.
- There was two thugs who saw the boy walking home with the goat. They wanted to cheat the boy so that they could take away his goat. They discussed the matter among themselves and devised a plan to get the goat by tricking the poor boy.
- After they decided a plan, they separated with each other and took their positions. The first thug approached the boy and asked in a shocking matter "I don't understand why you would you take this dog with you sir?" The boy was confused but decided to carry on his way home.
- The second thug came out from his hiding spot and asked "Sir why are you taking a defected calf with you, you seem like a wise man. Such an act is pure stupidity on your part." The boy was perplexed and scared, this is the second time someone commented something weird about this goat. He paused to have a ponder.
- At this point, the boy was starting to doubt himself. Did he really brought back a goat or some sort of monster because it transformed from a goat to a dog and even a calf. His thoughts got him frightened . So, he decided to give the goat to the thugs instead and walked away empty handed. The thug had a smirk on his face as the plan went smoothly.
- They regrouped with each other and they were in shocked on how easy it was to trick the boy. They laughed on how gullible the boy was. They took the goat and used it for their own benefits. Moral of the story : One should not be carried away by what others say.
