- British had taken the land which had made the settlers mad., eventually leading to "the shot heard around the world." which was a rock or stick discharging a gun or a soldier having enough.

- born in England in 1632 John Locke was a doctor who considered being a minister but ended up as a philosopher. Many people believed in Locke's theories of people having a blank slate.

- Boston townsfolk were mad with the tea tax that lead to the tea being dumped.
- Thomas Hobbes
- Basicly the 1st contnetial congress met in philadalphia and decided to do the albany plan. The albany plan was a plan to not become a colonial union.
- King George iii live from 1738-1820, won the British seven-year war which led to England's resistance successfully to Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars.
- Thomas Hobbes was a philosopher that believed all people are bad. Hobbes wrote a book in 1651 called leviathan that talked about natural philosiphy.
