  • Grading Milk!Milk is graded by the amount of bacteria that is left inside of the milk,
  • Did you know?Cows had 32 teeth and have 4 stomachs?
  • Cows are female versions of a bull and a bull is the male version of cows
  • Milk form the cow is transferred by a milk tanker at around 38 degrees, But before the tanker leaves, a small sample of the milk is tested right then and there before it leaves
  • Did you know?When milking a cow, it can hold up to 20 to 50 pounds of milk each time! it can also can be more depending on what they are feed
  • What is Homogenization? it is a process in which the fat particles from the milk is separated from the milk, otherwise it would foam up and rise to the top
  • What is pasteurization?Well it is a process where milk is put in to a machine and is heated at a high temperature for a short period of time, to kill bacteria 
  • Whole milk is a type of milk where little to none of the fat from the milk is taken out
  • Reduced fat milk is just normal milk with fat taken out of it
  • Fat free milk is like in the name, has little to no fat in the milk.
  • Something to consider while you are cooking milk, its best to keep it at a low heat and stir slowly, so it doesn't burn a the bottom and taste really bad
  • When storing milk, you should store it in the fridge at around 38 degrees, good enough to where it wont spoil but good enough to last a bit of time,
