Hello class! Today we will be presenting our Activist Topics we chose to research on!
Today, we have Larry presenting!
Thank you Mrs. Smith!
LACK OF HEALTH CARE
The topic I decided to research is the lack of health care.
Statistic: In 2018, 2.25 million Americans did not have insured healthcare.
This statistic is for adults ranging from 18-64. A common reason why adults don't have healthcare is because it is not affordable for them, which is 73.7 % of them.
Statistic: America will have a shortage of health care workers by 2032.
Another statistic is that America will have a shortage up to 122,000 physicians, according to recent studies.
WAYS TO HELP
You can also try seeking higher power into the situation if there's such a lack of health care in your community.
But fortunately, there are ways to help if you and/or your community needs medical health care. You can start off by looking where the resources are needed .
You could then chose programs that could help provide health care, like Medicare! Make sure to chose the right one for you or your community.
Lastly, it's about taking initiative. Nothing will happen if you're not going to do anything about it, so for yourself and other people, just do it!
Well done Larry! I glad you are bringing awareness on this topic and give ways to help!
I believe that concludes my presentation Mrs. Smith!
