  • HELP!! I'M TRAPPED!!
  • I must escape through flight!
  • I shall help gather the materials, Father!
  • Daedalus and Icarus were being held prisoner by King Minos on the Island of Crete.
  • Be Careful!! Don't go too high or low
  • The try to escape and they think of escaping through flying.
  • WOOHOO!! I'M SO FREE!!
  • Daedalus tells Icarus, his son, to gather feathers and wax. They made wings using those materials.
  • NOOOOOO!!!
  • AHHHHHH!!!!!
  • They flew above the ocean to get to safety and Daedalus said not to go to high or too low.
  • Icarus got too overwhelmed by the sense of freedom and flew too close to the sun.
  • Don't go up there!!!
  • Icarus’ wings melted and he fell into the water and drowned. Daedalus brought him to shore, but left alone.
