  • I am peter the rabbit and I get my energy through plants. Carbon provides raw material for photosynthesis. It enters plant cells which then gives it that bright green delicious color.
  • OH NO ! there is my enemy Michael J fox. I gotta fun before he tries to eat me. When a animal dies it causes decomposition , in the carbon cycle decomposers break down dead material from plants and other organisms and release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, where it's available to plants for photosynthesis.
  • This is the river where many of my other friends live. Carbon makes it's way into inland waterways through many paths. Organic matter in the waterways is digested by microorganisms, insects, and fish. The carbon dioxide they generate and the dissolved inorganic carbon carried into the rivers from on land then return to the atmosphere or are buried in sediments.
  • Carbon can also enter the atmosphere through burning fossil fuels. DIffusion also plays a big part on how carbon is able to get into the atmosphere lots of carbon gets stored in oceans
  • Today we are going to be checking your lungs. Did you know that when you simply breathe you are letting out carbon dioxide into the environment this processes is called cellular respiration
  • Interesting fact doc my mom once told me that when volcanoes erupt it causes carbon the leave the atmosphere.
  • What a busy day we had today visiting all the places and learning how the carbon cycle works. Even us as humans have a huge impact on the carbon cycle such as burning fossil fuels , changing land use, or even breathing.
