  • This resulted in 5 colonists getting killed and 6 who were wounded.
  • On March 5th, 1770 on Kings Street in Boston, Massachusetts Bay, a British soldier guards the King's fortune stored inside the Custom House. American colonists begin to insult and threaten him.

  • Paul Revere, an American patriot engraved this incident into a wood print . However, what is shown in this image isn't accurate to the event.
  • Other British join, and other colonists join to protest against the taxation and start pelting the British soldiers with ice and stones. It becomes a free-for-all.
