- Jem beheads Mrs Dubose’s camellias when she teases him about Atticus defending Tom Robinson, a black man charged with raping a white woman (Mayella Ewel).Atticus sends Jem to read to Mrs Dubose, as a punishment.
- Atticus goes to Tom Robinson’s prison cell in order to save him from the lynch that a gang of white men from the town planned on doing.
- Boo Radley
- Someone is following us
- The trial begins, but despite being innocent Tom is found guilty.The kids sneak into court even though they knew Atticus would not want them to be there.
- Tom Robinson is trying to escape prison and is shot 17 times, Tom dies.
- Jem and Scout are walking home after Halloween. Bob Ewell, who hates Atticus and is Mayella Ewell’s father, attacks Jem and Scout, but he is killed by Boo Radley who leaves his house in order to save them.
