Showing the evolution of a husband and father after taking an Appalachian Film course. The mother and son share their concern through interview and video of the father slowly begin to communicate only via quotes of Appalachian based movies.

- Medium Shot of Liam and Cyndi in living room on couch speaking to the camera Liam: Where do we begin? He’s just not the same anymore… Cyndi: (Sighing) It began a few weeks after his Appalachia Film course started. He started talking… weird. Liam: Very weird...
- Medium Shot Outside, in front of the house. Grass is tall and it is getting dark. Cyndi: Is it too late to mow the lawn? Wade: Night has fallen. And there's nothin' we can do about it. Wade walks away leaving a bewildered Cyndi.
