- At Home Before Going To My Cousins
- Davoud start getting ready we leave in a few minutes! Meet me by the car and bring some snacks so you boys can enjoy youselfs.
- You know what will be a great idea? If I bring my money with me to my cousins house. Then I can show them how rich I am.
- Alright mom ill be down there soon. Just give me a minute I need to do something.

- We should walk down to the park!
- Man I look pretty cool right now. I think I better put my money back in the car.

- Man I hate being the tagger. Its unfair because I am smaller.

- Alright then, Davoud count to 5 so we can get a head start.
- That was pretty fun, we should probably go inside now.
- I was preparing to go on a trip to my cousin's house in Livermore because we had not been there in a while. While preparing I thought it would be a brilliant idea to bring the few hundred dollars that I had been saving with me to show my cousins. I was 11, and knowing me, this was a brilliant idea, what could go wrong? My mom and I got into the car, and we drove to Livermore, about 20 minutes.

- I agree I am feeling super hungry and thirsty. Can I have some of those snacks you brought?
- Man I should check up on my money again... nah I'm sure its fine.
- When we got to my cousins I met and greeted them, we talked for a bit, and it was good fun. I showed them the money I had saved up, and they thought it was pretty cool. They asked me a few questions on how I saved it and I felt pretty proud. So, I put my money inside the car, instead of the house as I should have. My cousins and I decided to walk down to the park which was only about 3-4 minutes away.

- OH NO, I can't find my money at all. The car doors are unlocked and the passenger side is slightly open. Someone must have stolen it.
- We arrived at the park, which was clean for a public park, so we had some fun. We just played and talked for a good few hours about whatever kids talk about. It was around 3’oclock pm when we decided to start heading back as we were hungry, and the public fountain was pretty garbage.

- Man this sucks, I don't think this ice cream will cheer me up.

We walked home and saw nothing out of the ordinary, so we went inside and had some rather good food. We watched some cartoon networks because we were young and that was entertaining.
- Alright I got some chips and orange juice if thats ok/
- I then went outside to get something from the trunk, and noticed I left the car unlocked. I checked the passenger side door and saw my wallet holding all my cash was gone. I panicked and searched all over to no avail. I was devastated and didn’t say a word after to anyone. I cried later that night after we got home.
- Someone stole my money and now I cannot find it anywhere.
- Its ok honey, here ill get you ice cream. That will cheer you up.
- Davoud come to the table dinner is ready. Your dad does not like waiting.
- I told my mom the next day, she felt really bad and took me to get ice cream. This, however, didn’t really cheer me up and I still felt pretty bad. Till this day I will never forget about the day that I lost my money. It was a major day in my life, probably my top 5. It was very significant because from the next day on I will try to cherish everything I own or know as if it may be taken away from at any moment.
