The woman’s husband is frustrated because he was unable to get the land he wanted to buy, so he gets very frustrated. The wife is trying to calm him down to prevent the entire house form getting frustrated. The woman wants to keep her house not only clean, but happy.

- I don’t understand, I deserved it.
- Dining room scene:
- Look at all that we have. We should be grateful for what we have, not for what we don’t have.
- Second Dinning Room Scene:
- My apologies.
- This setting is meant to portray a Victorian hallway. Her husband is upset and frustrated that he did not get the property he wanted.
- This scene portrays a Victorian dinning room. The man’s wife is trying to calm him down, to prevent him from making everybody else in the house sad and frustrated as well.
- This scene also portrays a Victorian dinning room. The man understands how his emotions can bring unhappiness to the entire house with the help of his wife.
