- Hey Julian did you read the article about a teenagers mind and how it works?

- Hi Amanda. No, I didn't. What was it about?

- Well, it started by discussing how the brain makes decisions. This part was very interesting because it stated that decisions stem from a series of events in the brain.
- ICE CREAM

- Wow, that is really interesting. Whats next?
- Then the article described what parts of our brain makes decisions and where they are. For example the prefrontal cortex is located directly behind the forehead and it is the control center for thinking ahead and sizing up risks and rewards.

- No way! That's so cool!

- Another thing the article mentioned, that i thought was interesting, is that the brain does not fully mature until our mid to late 20s. Also, only some parts of the brain need a long time to mature, while others take less time and mature faster.
- Wow! Just think our brain could be maturing more and more right now. That is so cool!
