This scene describes how Rev. Hale was whipping Tituba, to get her to confess information she knew about the girls and witches in Salem. The reason I choose to use Lies and Deceit as a title for this scene is because, Tituba confessed, but was she told Rev. Hale was not the truth.
In this scene John and Abigail are in the woods alone, talking about their relationship prior to the Salem Witch Trials. When Abigail grabs John's hand and puts it on her private parts, he stops her by pushing her to the ground. I titled this scene Lust because Abigail is clearly seeking for sexual attention from Proctor.
In this scene John and Abigail are asked to remain quiet, and to face the other way as John's wife
