- The truce is settled then.
- In Jerusalem, King Richard had just finished fighting against Saladin, The king of Turkey to make him stop mistreating the Christians, earning the name Lion Heart showing bravery. His army was very small and he began to get sick.

- A little later, it got worse and the Turkish sent him mountain snow for cool water and some fresh fruits to help him get better.

- While King Richard was sick, his brother was trying to take over the throne. So in order to defeat him, he made a truce with Saladin. Richard agreed to the Turkish rule of Jerusalem and they agreed to stop mistreating the Christians.

- On his way back from making the truce, he was captured by the Duke of Austria because he wanted revenge and was kept in a room in his castle.
- During his time in the room, nobody could find him. So a duke from austria went around Austria singing the songs that the king liked. When the King heard the songs, he started to sing the second verse.

- The Austrian duke heard him and demanded a large ransom for King ? Richard to be set free. The people agreed and paid the taxes, soon their King was free.
