- Federalists...We believe in a strong federal government to create order and stability! Looseinterpretation of the constitution!
- Once, there were two parties, the federalists and the republicans who argued over what government the U.S should have.
- Republicans...We believe states need more of a say, and all people should have a voice in government, not just the wealthy landowners!
- Even though they did agree with needing a new capital nation, Hamilton and Jefferson still had both sides arguing.
