- Welcome from Mantua Friar John! What does Romeo say? Or if he's written give me his letter.
- I went to find a fellow Friar to go with me. He was in this city visiting the sick. Then health officials suspected that we both were in a house contaminated by the plague. Sealed up the doors and would not let us forth. So I was prevented from going to Mantua.
