- George and lennie arrive at their new location, after running away from Weed; George gets maad at lennie for the crime he commited at Weed.
- Chapter 4
- George and Lennie get a new job; and are being welcomed by candy and his old dog
- Chapter 5
- Curley gets into a fight with Lennie, but underestimate's Lennie strenght
- Chapter 6
- Lennie and Candy visit Crooks room. Curley's wife comes by the stable and begins to harass the men. Crooks tries to sack her from the room
- George and the other guys are outside playing Horseshoe but Lennie is in the stable chatting with Curley's wife. He ends up killing the pup and curley's wife,
- George finally kills Lennie.Slim, Carlson, and Curley follow -up to meet Lennie's corpse.
