- *Camera shutter clicks.* "Hmmm I do not like this shot. Let's try again." *Phone rings* "Yobo...I mean Hello? (friend on opposite line talks) Yea, I am free today. We can meet up in Boston. (friend on opposite line talks) Yea alright sounds good see you later."
- *sighs* "I have been out all day and I still do not know what the shot I ma looking for is. Well I just have to keep trying. I gotta meet up with Viv first though maybe she will be able to give me some advice."
- "Huh? She isn't here yet. Maybe I can try taking some city pictures while she is on her way here."
- "Am going to keep this one." *Kitten Meowing*
- "Kitty. You're so soft and cute. I wish that during these times you are able to give me some insight. I was an EHS major and I wasn't doing so well. I wasn't happy when I was an EHS major. I found myself enjoying learning about engineering, but also wanted to stay in the medical field? At the same time I just want to make my parents happy. I switched majors. but I haven't told my parents yet what do I do? "
- Cat: "I feel bad! Sorry, to hear that!" Me: "You talk? You're actually talking to me?! I must be crazy right now. I must have lost it already from all this stress! " Cat: "Bruh! I can talk and you are not going crazy. Every human has some animal they can communicate with and you just happened to have me! Which I shall say you are very lucky! I am a very wise cat. "
- Me: Well since you can talk and you are as wise as you say you are please help me. Cat: Hmm okay. You know...you should do what makes you happy. It is like taking a picture what is the right shot? What do you determine is the right shot? Me: You know when you see it. Perfect shots can only been seen.
- Cat: I see! Here is another way of thinking about it. Think about choosing between what food you want to eat. Like choosing between McDonalds or Wendy's. What do I choose? Me: Well would you choose the best option? That is what I would do!
- Cat: Exactly. You never have just one destination. You have multiple, but even when you reach your ultimate goal you will never stop learning something new about yourself. Me: What do I tell my parents though? I know for a fact they will get mad at me because I am graduating late since I changed majors.
- Cat: Tell your parents the truth. If they get mad, then it is okay. Sometimes you just have to do what is best for you. You know after all we are given a scene - a combination of people, places and things that we have no control over But, it is up to us to frame it in a way we get the best shot. Question is what is the best shot?
- Me: The best shot happens when we see it I will tell my parents the decision I made when the time is right. I know they will get made, but I also will make my parents proud of me and show them that I can be their ideal daughter.
- Cat: Yep. You know the world if full of uncertainty and people who fear that their own decisions will only leave them regretting why they did what they did. Don't miss an opportunity because you were scared to take. it. Why live a life only questioning yourself? Don't be afraid to try new things. In the en we all live to tell a story. A story of our experiences good and bad.
