- Jordan is practicing basketball with his friend Kendrick. He wants to walk from one corner of the basketball court to the opposite corner. He wants to know the exact distance he walked.

- The height of the basket ball court is 85 meters. The angle of the triangle is 64 degrees. Since we don't know the distance, we're going to mark that with X. Now, we're going to figure out the trigonometric ratio. Since x is the longest side, it is the hypotenuse. The height, 85 meters, is going to be the opposite. Therefore, the trigonometric ratio is Sin (SOH). Sin(64°)* 85/x85/sin(64°) = 94.57 m

Jordan wants to find the nearest degree that measures the angle that the ladder makes with the ground. Opposite to theta is 18 meters, and the longest side is 25 meters, making it the hypotenuse. We use the Sin trigonometric rule, and apply the inverse function. Sin-1(18/25)= 46.05 degrees
